Saint Laurent Dazzles Paris Fashion Week with All-Gold Collection

Saint Laurent creative director Anthony Vaccarello presented a striking all-gold collection at Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday, celebrating ten years since his debut show for the Kering-owned label. The spring/summer 2027 showcase, held outdoors at the Trocadero fountain, unfolded beneath a massive gold chandelier, with the Eiffel Tower glowing gold in the background.

Models walked a raised runway in head-to-toe gold ensembles, including slinky dresses with raised embroidery, brocade skirts, sharply collared jackets, and trench coats. The front row drew celebrities such as Blackpink's Rosé, model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Oscar winners Eddie Redmayne and Rami Malek.

The show closed with black gowns featuring billowing sleeves and long trains. Charlotte Gainsbourg performed a song in a classic Saint Laurent black suit before Vaccarello appeared to applause, smiling and waving to the crowd.

Vaccarello is widely credited with expanding Saint Laurent's global reach. While the brand's revenues fell 6% last year, Kering reported a return to growth in the first half of this year. The event also comes amid reports that Vaccarello may be preparing to step down from his role.
