Salman Khan Says Health Fine, Blames Edit for Bigg Boss 20 Scare

Salman Khan has said there is nothing wrong with his health after a Bigg Boss 20 episode showed him clutching his chest and asking for a doctor, calling the promo edit misleading.

Salman Khan has stated that there is no cause for concern about his health, after a sequence on the Weekend Ka Vaar episode of 'Bigg Boss 20' prompted widespread worry among viewers.

During the broadcast, the actor was seen placing a hand on his chest, appearing to struggle while speaking, and then lying down on the stage and calling for a doctor. The moment circulated quickly online, with fans posting messages wishing him well.

In a statement shared on his Instagram Story, Salman said the episode had been misunderstood. "Nothing is wrong with my health by the grace of God," he wrote.

The actor also criticised how the promo for the episode had been cut, saying the edit made it seem as though he had suffered a genuine health emergency. He explained that the discomfort he showed was part of a demonstration aimed at contestant Qazi, intended to illustrate why treating one's health as entertainment was wrong. He noted that the other housemates were unaware he was acting and had grown genuinely anxious about him.

"It totally beats the purpose n looks like I am doing the same thing that kazi was doing in the house," he wrote, adding that his intent had been lost in the way the sequence was presented.

Separately, during the same episode, Salman confronted online trolls who target actors, particularly women, over their appearance. He also addressed speculation about his own looks. Responding to remarks about his bald appearance, he removed his hat and T-shirt on stage, telling the trolls he was prepared to face their comments. "You guys want to troll me? I will show you. No abs, see my look; you want to troll me now? Go on, troll me," he said.

On the work front, Salman will next appear in Apoorva Lakhia's 'Maatrubhumi'. A release date has not yet been announced.
