Shah Rukh Khan Confirms King Will Arrive on December 24

Shah Rukh Khan has confirmed that his action-adventure King, directed by Siddharth Anand, is locked for a December 24 release.

Shah Rukh Khan has put an end to speculation over the release date of his upcoming action-adventure King, confirming during an AskSRK session on X that the Siddharth Anand directorial is locked for December 24.

The actor's response came amid online chatter about a possible change in the film's release plan. King is set to arrive in a crowded window that includes two major Hollywood titles, Avengers: Doomsday and Dune: Part Three, both slated for December 18.

When a fan pressed him to at least unveil the trailer, Khan said he would only interact for now and that the trailer would follow later. He noted that the film is still around 100 days away from release and urged fans to be patient.

In his replies, the actor assured audiences that the makers are working on something they will be happy with, and asked them to hold on until the December 24 date.

King has been among the most anticipated Indian titles since it was announced, with fans keenly awaiting its first promotional asset. The confirmation from Khan follows earlier reporting on the release plan and settles, for now, questions about whether the film would move from its December slot.
