Shalini Pandey Calls AI-Generated Video 'Deeply Disturbing', Urges Reporting

Actor Shalini Pandey condemns a fake AI-generated video of her, calling it fabricated and urging people to report rather than share it.

Actor Shalini Pandey, known for her role in Arjun Reddy, has spoken out against a fake AI-generated video of her that is circulating online. In a statement shared on Instagram, she said the clip is completely fabricated and does not depict her.

Pandey expressed concern over the misuse of artificial intelligence to target individuals, particularly women. She described the situation as deeply disturbing and said such abuse of technology should never be normalised.

The actor urged people who come across the video not to share, forward, download, or engage with it. Instead, she asked them to report it immediately and help stop its circulation.

Her statement comes amid growing concerns about AI-generated and digitally manipulated content, which can create misleading representations of people without their consent. Such technology raises serious issues around privacy, consent, and online abuse.

Pandey rose to fame with Arjun Reddy and has since worked in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi cinema. Her notable films include Mahanati, 100% Kadhal, Jayeshbhai Jordaar, and Maharaj. She was last seen in Rahu Ketu.
