SSC Releases CGL 2026 Admit Cards for Tier 1 Exams Starting September 30

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the admit cards for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination 2026 on its official website, ssc.gov.in. The Tier 1 exams are scheduled to be held from September 30 to October 30, 2026.
Hall tickets are being uploaded according to each candidate's individual exam date. The commission typically makes the admit card available two to three days before the scheduled examination. To download the document, candidates must log in with their registration number, password and captcha code.
The admit card carries essential details including the candidate's name, roll number, category, photograph, signature, exam date and timing, and the address of the examination centre.
Steps to download the admit card
- Visit the official website, ssc.gov.in.
- Click on the login option at the top of the homepage.
- Enter the registration number and password.
- The admit card will appear on the screen.
- Download and save the hall ticket for future reference.
Candidates should note that only a physical copy of the admit card will be accepted at the examination centre. Digital copies are not permitted.
Exam day guidelines
- Candidates must reach the centre at least 40 minutes before the reporting time.
- Electronic gadgets, smartwatches, mobile phones, books and notes are strictly prohibited inside the exam centre.
- Candidates must follow the dress code and other instructions mentioned on the admit card.
The examination will be conducted in four shifts. The first shift will run from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, the second from 11:45 am to 12:45 pm, the third from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm and the fourth from 5:15 pm to 6:15 pm.
