SSC Junior Hindi Translator Exam at Noida Centre Postponed After Technical Glitch
Technical issues forced SSC to postpone the JHT exam at a Noida centre. Affected candidates will now appear on September 13.
The Staff Selection Commission's Junior Hindi Translator (JHT) examination, scheduled for September 8, hit a snag at a Noida centre. Candidates who arrived at the Adarsh Examination Centre for the 12 noon to 2 PM test were left waiting as officials struggled to resolve a technical problem that prevented the exam from starting on time.
As the issue could not be fixed promptly, the examination for candidates at this specific centre was postponed. The revised date for the affected candidates has been announced as September 13. Those who were unable to take the test on the original date will now appear on the new schedule.
The delay caused considerable frustration among aspirants, with reports of commotion at the venue. Candidates sought answers from authorities and urged them to proceed with the exam, but were ultimately asked to leave once the postponement was confirmed.
The SSC JHT recruitment covers several posts with pay scales based on Level 6 and Level 7. Positions like Junior Translation Officer, Junior Hindi Translator, and Sub-Inspector (Hindi Translator) in CRPF fall under Level 6, offering a salary range of Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400. The Senior Hindi Translator post is at Level 7, with pay ranging from Rs 44,900 to Rs 1,42,400.
Candidates affected by this rescheduling are advised to monitor the official SSC website for the revised admit card and any further instructions related to the September 13 examination.
