Suffolk Police Search for Missing Three-Year-Old Boy in Brantham

Police and local residents in Brantham, Suffolk, continued searching on Wednesday for a three-year-old boy who went missing from a playground the previous day.

The boy, named Noah, is autistic, non-verbal and has partial hearing loss, Suffolk police said.

He was last seen at about 3 p.m. on Tuesday after becoming separated from a relative following a visit to the playground, according to officers.

Police believe Noah, who is white with curly ginger hair, ran off down an alleyway beside the playground towards a housing estate.

Specially trained officers and dog units, backed by helicopters from the National Police Air Service and HM Coastguard, have been combing the village near the estuary of the River Stour since Tuesday afternoon.

They are receiving further ground support from the Coastguard, Suffolk Fire & Rescue Service, Suffolk Lowland Search & Rescue and members of the public.

Media reports said more than 100 people joined the search on Tuesday evening, checking gardens, sheds and outbuildings at police request.
