TDP flags fake social media accounts targeting NDA unity in Andhra Pradesh

TDP's state president has warned cadre that fake social media accounts in the names of NDA leaders are being used to sow discord within the alliance.

The Telugu Desam Party's state president has cautioned party workers against a wave of fake social media accounts operating in the names of leaders and cadres of the National Democratic Alliance in Andhra Pradesh.

According to the party's state unit, these fabricated profiles are being used to post personal attacks and abusive remarks directed at leaders of other alliance partners. The apparent aim, the party said, is to breed mistrust among the TDP, Jana Sena and the BJP, and in doing so, erode the unity of the alliance.

The state president urged TDP cadre to stay alert to such activity and not to be drawn into exchanges provoked by these accounts. Party workers were asked to remain vigilant and to avoid amplifying content that could create friction between the alliance partners.

The warning points to growing concern within the NDA's Andhra Pradesh unit that coordinated online provocation could strain ties between the three parties at a time when they are working together politically.
