Telangana CM to open new Musi bridge linking Amberpet and Moosarambagh
Telangana CM will inaugurate a 400m, 14.5m-wide Musi bridge connecting Amberpet and Moosarambagh, built at ₹52 crore to ease traffic.
Hyderabad is set to get a new river crossing as Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will inaugurate a 400-metre-long, 14.5-metre-wide bridge over the Musi on Monday, August 31, 2026. The structure connects Amberpet with Moosarambagh.
The bridge, built at an estimated cost of ₹52 crore, is expected to significantly ease commuting for residents travelling through Chanchalguda, Saidabad, Santosh Nagar, IS Sadan, Owaisi Hospital, Kanchan Bagh, Champapet and Sagar Road. It includes 3.5-metre-wide footpaths on both sides for pedestrian movement.
Ahead of the inauguration, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner R.V. Karnan inspected the project site on Sunday. He directed officials to complete the A4 up-ramp within a day and the A3 side ramp towards Champapet within two to three days to ensure readiness.
At the public programme in Amberpet, the Chief Minister — who also holds the Municipal Administration and Urban Development portfolio — will unveil the logos of the Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation, Cyberabad Municipal Corporation and GHMC.
