Telangana opens objection window for Indiramma Housing Tower lottery picks
Telangana Housing Board invites public objections on selected Indiramma flat beneficiaries till Sept 4; field verification underway.
The Telangana Housing Board has opened a public window for raising objections against applicants selected through the recent lottery for affordable flats under the Indiramma Housing Towers scheme, located within the Outer Ring Road (ORR) limits of Hyderabad.
Citizens who believe a selected beneficiary is ineligible — due to a wrong selection, duplicate application, or failure to meet criteria — can flag their concerns through the 'Raise objection' tab on the official website (tghb.telangana.gov.in). The facility will remain active until September 4.
Constituency-wise lists of applicants, including names, relative's names, addresses, selection status, and locality, have been uploaded online. An 'object' tab appears alongside each beneficiary's details for ease of filing a complaint.
Key eligibility norms state that an applicant must not have availed similar housing benefits earlier, must not own a house, flat, or plot within the ORR or Core Urban Region (CURE) area, and must be a resident of the respective constituency.
Housing Board officials are currently conducting field-level verification of these criteria. Vice-Chairman V.P. Gautham indicated that provisional allotment letters would be issued to beneficiaries within a week after the verification process concludes.
The lottery, held from August 28 to 31, covered 7,340 flats across 16 Assembly constituencies within the ORR, drawing from over 60,000 applications received.
Separately, the deadline to apply for 1,920 flats in four more Assembly constituencies — L.B. Nagar, Goshamahal, Musheerabad, and Chadrayangutta — is September 3.
