The Vvaan trailer unveils a folklore-driven world of fantasy and mystery

The trailer for The Vvaan, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia, has been released, offering a fuller view of the world first hinted at in the film's teaser. Set around a forest, the film draws on Indian folk traditions and blends fantasy, adventure and mystery.

The footage presents a setting shaped by ancient beliefs and supernatural forces. It introduces the characters played by Malhotra and Bhatia, who are paired on screen for the first time, and suggests that they become entangled in events linked to the mysterious world surrounding the forest.

Alongside its folklore and supernatural framework, the trailer includes action, romance, humour and moments of spectacle. The narrative appears to alternate between the characters' personal journeys and the broader mystery tied to the world of Vvaan, with the film aiming to bring several genres together while keeping Indian folklore at its core.

The project extends beyond the film itself through The Legend of Vvaan, a comic book that introduces elements of the larger folklore and universe associated with the story.

The Vvaan brings together TVF's Arunabh Kumar, director Deepak Mishra and producer Ektaa R Kapoor. The film is written by Arunabh Kumar and directed by Deepak Mishra, with Manu Anand serving as director of photography and visual director. It is presented by Balaji Motion Pictures, a division of Balaji Telefilms Ltd, in association with TVF and 11.11 Production, and produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Arunabh Kumar and Niraj Kothari.

The film is scheduled to release in cinemas on September 25, 2026.
