Tim Curry, the British actor whose portrayal of Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show became a cultural landmark, has died at the age of 80. His longtime friend and manager, Marcia Hurwitz, confirmed that he passed away on Wednesday at his home in Los Angeles. No cause of death was disclosed.

Curry's career was marked by remarkable versatility across both stage and screen. He earned three Tony nominations and an Emmy nomination, showcasing his range from musical theatre to dramatic television. His performance in the 1975 cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show remains his most celebrated role, cementing his status as a beloved character actor.
