Naidu Unveils Pilgrim-Focused Initiatives at Tirumala, Including AI History Videos
Chief Minister Naidu launched several initiatives at Tirumala, including AI videos on its history, ₹2 lakh group insurance for pilgrims, a healing centre, a museum, an app and electric buses.
Devotees waiting for darshan at Tirumala will soon be able to watch AI-generated videos on the temple town's history. The facility was among a set of initiatives launched by Chief Minister Naidu, aimed at improving the pilgrim experience.
A key announcement is a free group insurance cover of ₹2 lakh for pilgrims. The measure is intended to provide a safety net for those visiting the hill shrine.
Another addition is a Healing and Devotion Experience Centre, designed to offer spiritual and wellness-related engagement. The Sri Venkateswara Museum has also been renovated, giving visitors an updated space to learn about the temple's heritage.
A mobile application named 'Nandakam' was launched as part of the digital outreach. In addition, 32 electric buses were introduced, a step that supports eco-friendly transport for pilgrims moving around the temple premises.
Together, the initiatives cover insurance, health and devotion, museum infrastructure, digital services and green mobility. The launch reflects a broader effort to blend technology and tradition in managing one of the country's busiest pilgrimage destinations.
