Udta Teer trailer unveiled: Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan lead ensemble comedy

The first trailer for Udta Teer, headlined by Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan, has been released, offering an early look at the comedy entertainer ahead of its theatrical arrival.

Backed by Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment, the film brings together comedy, action and adventure, with the trailer introducing its ensemble of characters and the chaotic situations that drive the story. The preview moves at a brisk pace, mixing comic set pieces with action sequences and an ensemble-led approach to humour.

Udta Teer is directed by Akash A Kaushik and marks his first feature as a director. Alongside Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan, the supporting cast includes Rahul Bose, Ram Kapoor, Suhail Nayyar, Gulshan Grover, Mukul Dev, Raghubir Yadav, Brijendra Kala, Sandeep Anand, Supriya Pilgaonkar and Smita Tambe.

The trailer also offers a glimpse of the chemistry between the leads and the varied circumstances their characters encounter. While the film draws much of its energy from its comic moments, the preview incorporates action and adventure elements, positioning it as a multi-genre theatrical entertainer.

The project is produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Guneet Monga Kapoor and Achin Jain, and marks another collaboration between Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment.

For Khurrana, the film adds another theatrical title to his upcoming slate, while Sara Ali Khan returns to the big screen in a comedy-led ensemble. The casting also brings together performers from different generations, reinforcing the film's ensemble format.

With the trailer now out, Udta Teer has begun its theatrical campaign. The film is scheduled to release in cinemas on October 9, 2026.
