NTA Releases UGC NET June 2026 E-Certificates for Qualified Candidates

The National Testing Agency has released the e-certificates for candidates who qualified in the UGC NET June 2026 examination. The documents cover the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor and PhD admission categories.

To download a certificate, a candidate must log in to the official UGC NET portal, ugcnet.nta.nic.in, using the application number and password registered during the exam process.

The certificates have been issued under several qualification combinations. These include JRF only, JRF along with Assistant Professor, Assistant Professor along with admission to PhD, and admission to PhD only. Candidates should check that the category printed on their certificate matches the one they qualified under.

Qualifiers have been advised to download and store the document safely, as it may be required during admission or recruitment procedures, depending on the category concerned.

For candidates who run into trouble while downloading, the agency has set up a dedicated email address, ecertificate@nta.ac.in, where such problems can be reported for assistance.

UGC NET is conducted to determine eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor positions, as well as for admission to PhD programmes, as applicable under the examination's result categories.
