UGC-NET June 2026 Re-Exam Admit Cards Released for Three Subjects
NTA releases UGC-NET June 2026 re-exam admit cards for English, Commerce, Sociology, scheduled September 9-10.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued admit cards for the UGC-NET June 2026 re-examination covering three subjects: English, Commerce, and Sociology. The tests are scheduled to be held on September 9 and 10 at centres across the country.
Candidates can download their hall tickets, along with the required undertaking, from the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in by logging in with their credentials. The agency has urged candidates to go through the instructions printed on the admit card carefully, including reporting time, dress code, and items permitted inside the examination hall.
Those facing difficulties downloading the admit card or noticing discrepancies in their particulars should contact the NTA helpdesk at 011-40759000 or email ugcnet@nta.ac.in. The examination city and date were already communicated to candidates through the Advance City Intimation Slip issued on September 1.
The re-examination was necessitated after the NTA received complaints about multiple errors in the question papers of these three subjects. A committee constituted to examine the matter found factual, typographical, and translation mistakes, including misspelled names of scholars, garbled book titles, flawed question stems, grammatical errors, and repeated questions from earlier exams. The committee recommended re-conducting the papers to ensure a fair and error-free assessment.
Results for the remaining 84 subjects of the UGC-NET June 2026 cycle were declared on August 28.
