Usain Bolt Proposes to Longtime Partner Kasi Bennett at 40th Birthday Bash

Usain Bolt, the eight-time Olympic gold medalist, is engaged. The sprint legend proposed to his longtime partner, Kasi Bennett, during his 40th birthday celebrations at One Belmont in Kingston, Jamaica.

Bennett shared photos and videos from the moment on Instagram, showing Bolt down on one knee, microphone in hand. The 36-year-old model and entrepreneur appeared genuinely surprised, captioning the post, "A million moments led us here. Yes, always."

For the occasion, Bolt wore a checkered suit and presented Bennett with a five-carat oval-shaped diamond ring. Friends and family were present for the proposal, and Bennett later shared a video on her Instagram stories showing off the new ring.

A friend, Nikolette Williams, shared a message on Bennett's story, revealing the surprise was planned during Bolt's birthday party preparations. "So many sleepless nights planning UB's 40th Kasi....little did she know we were also secretly planning the surprise of a lifetime," the message read.

Bennett also posted pictures from the birthday celebrations, including a video of Bolt with their three children: daughter Olympia Lightning Bolt and twin sons Thunder Bolt and Saint Lee Bolt.

The couple began dating in 2013 but kept their relationship private until the 2016 Rio Olympics, Bolt's final career Games. Bennett, a Jamaican entrepreneur and philanthropist, runs Elevate Marketing House and founded Project Kase, an organization supporting children and communities in Jamaica.
