Gujarat CM Pitches State as Investment Hub at Vibrant Summit Curtain-Raiser

Gujarat CM invites global investors to the 11th Vibrant Gujarat summit, highlighting policy stability, infrastructure, and green energy opportunities.

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has extended an open invitation to domestic and global investors, entrepreneurs, and business leaders to participate in the state's growth story. Speaking at the curtain-raiser event for the 11th Vibrant Gujarat summit, he highlighted the state's strengths in manufacturing, new technologies, and green energy as key areas for investment.

Patel emphasized that Gujarat offers a stable policy environment, a talented youth workforce, effective governance, and transparency. He stated that the state has evolved into a global investment destination, having attracted USD 74.6 billion in investments between January 2000 and March 2026.

The three-day summit is scheduled to begin on January 10, 2027, under the theme 'Viksit Gujarat - Shaping Global Future'. The Chief Minister framed the summit as a reflection of global investor trust and a platform for knowledge sharing, asserting that investments naturally follow where there is policy stability and speed of execution.

Patel also spoke about the state's readiness to contribute to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Sapta Dhara' reform framework, which aims to accelerate India's journey toward becoming a developed nation by 2047. The framework focuses on sectors including manufacturing, agro-food production, technology, logistics, defence, and the green and blue economy.

Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya noted that Gujarat has become the country's leading investment destination with a strong ecosystem for multinational companies. Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi added that the state will act as a partner to investors, highlighting that six of the 12 approved semiconductor plants in India are coming up in Gujarat, with three already operational.
