WBCHSE Releases Class 12 Semester 3 Exam Schedule for 2027

The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has published the timetable for the Class 12 Semester 3 board examinations for 2027. The exams will commence on September 21, 2027, and conclude on October 14, 2027, at designated examination centres.

Most papers are scheduled for the morning session, from 11 am to 12:30 pm. However, the Music and Visual Arts examinations will be held from 11 am to 12 noon. The vocational subject exams on October 13 will take place in the afternoon, from 2 pm to 3 pm.

According to the subject-wise schedule, the first day, September 21, will see papers for Bengali (A), English (A), Hindi (A), Nepali (A), Urdu, Santhali, Odia, Telugu and Punjabi. On September 24, exams for English (B), Bengali (B), Hindi (B), Nepali (B) and Alternative English are lined up.

Economics, Anthropology, Science of Well Being and Applied Artificial Intelligence will be held on September 25. Physics, Nutrition, Education and Accountancy are scheduled for September 28. On September 29, papers for Computer Science, Modern Computer Application, Environmental Studies, Environmental Science, Health & Physical Education, Music and Visual Arts will be conducted.

Statistics, Psychology, Commercial Law and Preliminaries of Auditing, and History will take place on September 30. Chemistry, Geography, Human Development and Resource Management, and Business Studies are set for October 1. Philosophy will be held on October 3.

On October 12, exams for Mathematics, Business Mathematics and Business Statistics, Basic Mathematics for Social Sciences, Agriculture, Journalism and Mass Communication, Sanskrit, Persian and Arabic are scheduled. October 13 will cover Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Sociology and other listed subjects. The final day, October 14, will see papers for Biological Science, Political Science, and Costing and Taxation.

The council has stated that strict checking will be enforced at all examination centres. Students will be permitted to carry only essential writing materials, such as a pen and pencil, into the examination hall. Mobile phones, calculators and other electronic gadgets are prohibited. Carrying an electronic device during the exam may lead to cancellation of the examination and enrolment.

CCTV cameras will be installed at the main gates and inside examination rooms. At least two invigilators will be present in every room, with one invigilator assigned for every 20 students. The council has also advised students and parents to disregard rumours and rely only on official updates during the examination period.
