White House launches retro arcade games to promote Trump agenda
The White House website debuts Arcade, five retro-style games promoting Trump's border, health, and savings initiatives.
The White House has added a playful twist to its digital presence with the launch of "Arcade," a collection of five low-resolution video games designed to highlight key aspects of President Donald Trump's policy agenda. The games, unveiled on Thursday, blend classic arcade mechanics with administration themes.
Among the titles is "Build the Wall," a Tetris-style game that challenges players to stack blocks to "protect the border from the coming horde." Another game, "Rio Run," borrows from the mobile hit Snake, featuring a character resembling Trump who moves around to collect potential border crossers.
"Supply Line" offers a take on the arcade classic Tapper, where players manage an assembly line of food items, rejecting those that fail to meet "Make America Healthy Again" standards. Two other games are set against the backdrop of Washington, D.C.: "Flappy Bill" has an eagle carrying a bill across the National Mall, while "Trump Savings Tycoon" involves collecting flying money to fund "Trump Accounts," the administration's savings plan that promises $1,000 to every child born during Trump's term.
The games are part of an effort to engage the public with the president's initiatives in a lighthearted, interactive format.
