Elizabeth Holmes documentary 'You Can See Everything' set for October 16 release
A24's 'You Can See Everything', directed by Lance Oppenheim and Nathan Fielder, will release on October 16 after a schedule shuffle.
A documentary centred on Elizabeth Holmes, the founder of the disgraced biotech startup Theranos, is scheduled to arrive in theatres on October 16. Titled You Can See Everything, the film runs 2 hours and 54 minutes.
The release date was set after Bleecker Street shifted its Alex Gibney-directed documentary Musk to October 9 from October 16, opening the earlier slot.
The project is directed by Lance Oppenheim and Nathan Fielder, who built it in secret over four years. Their footage centres on Holmes and her romantic partner, who invited the filmmakers to live with them and record their daily lives beginning 34 days before her incarceration. The couple maintain her innocence.
Holmes, who invented a purported miracle blood-screening device, was convicted of fraud and has since drawn a steady stream of documentaries, dramatisations and exposés.
You Can See Everything, an A24 release, had already been announced as a selection for the New York Film Festival 2026. In its description of the film, the festival called it a portrait of a relationship that unsettles notions of objectivity in documentary while testing the boundaries of fiction, describing it as a self-reflexive work that repeatedly changes shape and springs surprises.
The New York Film Festival is set to run from September 25 to October 12.
