YRF Secures Overseas Distribution Rights for Yeh Prem Mol Liya

Yash Raj Films (YRF) has acquired the overseas distribution rights for Yeh Prem Mol Liya, the upcoming family entertainer from Rajshri Productions and director Sooraj Barjatya. The studio's distribution arm will handle the film's release across international markets.

The development follows the launch of the film's title song on September 20 at Mumbai's Royal Opera House, an event that added to the buzz around a project being positioned in the director's familiar clean-family-entertainer space.

YRF's overseas distribution network is expected to help the film secure screens in key international territories. The association extends a long-running relationship between the two banners. YRF distributed Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon internationally in 2003, and it released Barjatya's previous directorial, Uunchai, worldwide in 2022. A year later, YRF handled the India distribution of Dono, the directorial debut of Barjatya's son Avnish S Barjatya, across multiple domestic circuits.

The film also carries a YRF connection through its lead pair: both Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari are managed by YRF Talents.

With the overseas rights now settled, attention turns to the India distribution deal, which is yet to be announced. The Rajshri brand, Barjatya's standing with family audiences and the film's commercial cast are expected to draw interest from distributors.

Yeh Prem Mol Liya is scheduled to release in cinemas on November 27.
