Zelenskyy Meets Romanian, Serbian and Polish Leaders at Carpathian Summit
Zelenskyy held bilateral talks with Romania's Nicusor Dan, Serbia's Aleksandar Vucic and Poland's Donald Tusk at the Carpathian Summit in Bukovel.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a series of bilateral meetings with the leaders of Romania, Serbia and Poland on Friday, on the margins of the Carpathian Summit in Bukovel.
In his talks with Romanian President Nicusor Dan, Zelenskyy conveyed Ukraine's appreciation for Romania's continued support. The two sides reviewed projects that could be expedited and areas where the two countries can assist each other, including the SAFE initiative, joint drone production, infrastructure and humanitarian matters, Zelenskyy said in a social media post.
Zelenskyy also thanked Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic for attending the summit, stating that Ukraine and Serbia would keep their bilateral dialogue going.
Separately, the Ukrainian president met Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk. He described Ukraine and Poland as strong partners and expressed gratitude for Warsaw's new assistance package, at a time of continuing military tensions in Ukraine.
The meetings took place alongside the summit in the western Ukrainian town of Bukovel.
