Supreme Court Judge Criticizes Pressure on Judiciary from Social Media
Supreme Court Justice Joymalya Bagchi has stated that the independence of the judiciary is threatened by misinformation spreading on social media. He said that outrage on digital platforms and media trials exert undue pressure on judges.
